Dad to An Angel in Heaven
My Daddy was born in Halifax Nova Scotia on the 14th of March in 1982, same year my mommy was born.  My daddy first few days were different then my mom's though.  Ryan's mom was only young when she had my daddy and she wanted him to have a home with two loving parents and she decided to put my dad  up for adoption.  My daddy was adopted by Jane & Scott Thompson who at the time were living in Waverly, Nova Scoita.   His parents were very excited to take Ryan into their home and in fact found out that eight months down the road my daddy would have a little brother.  His little brother's name is Christopher but everyone just calls him Guff, he's uncle Guff to me. :)

My daddy & mommy met at Charles P Allen High School in Bedford Nova Scotia.  Daddy knew mommy from the group of friends they both shared.  Daddy in fact hugged mommy good-bye everyday for 2 years before they finally started dating.   Daddy was at a football game for CPA when mommy and him went for coffee, and mommy finally got up the guts to ask him out.  Daddy of course said yes.  My parents were now a "couple".

As you know my daddy joined the military, the navy and now he works on a big ship in the Halifax Harbour. He sails a lot and leaves mommy alone but that is okay, mommy is safe.  I am watching over Daddy when he sails to make sure he makes it home to mommy safe and sound.  My daddy is a TAS-OP and he really loves his job.

Daddy I want to thank you for loving mommy when she was pregnant wtih me and helping us the best you could when I was inside mommy's tummy.  I used to laugh everytime you would kiss mommy's belly and give me kisses.  The stories you read me weren't that bad, tell mommy not to laugh at you for that, I enjoyed the stories. 

Daddy, I want to say I am sorry I left without even getting a chance to say hello or even good-bye.  I know though you don't cry a lot around mommy.  I see you when your alone espically when your on the boat, and I know your thinking  of me.  Daddy, I love you with all my heart and I want you to know that I am safe.  I want you to take care of my mommy as she is still hurting and so are you.  You both need to take care of each other.  You are the best set of parents any girl could ask for and I love you very very much...all around the world and back!!
