| Thank You Together, you love your seven seeds. As you have and always will. Apart, you opened your last pride and joy to her own mistakes, allowing me to blossom. You produced my mother. Watched her grow into a beautiful woman. Even became my mother at times when choices seemed too hard, like a shadow you walked that extra mile with me, giving me understanding and stamina for life. Fourth born, you were my mentor. Singing my worries away like the perfect father every daddys little girl dreams of. Your precious life gave me pride. Losing you, brother, gave me talent. Like a twin sister, you are me. Sharing childhood laughs and cries, as our swings now comfort new youth. Reflecting true best-friendship. I exist because you make me real. I reflect on your lectures, liberating, like breathing for the first time, I feel my voice grow. You made me more than just a statistic. I can make a difference. Through marriage you came into my sisterhood. Through friendship you influence my goals. Spiritually, you lift me up, give me peace of mind, body, and soul. Your lyrics of love, peace, and respect became my heart. Your theory of existentialism allows me to observe all my choices and their consequences. Even though we are truly alone, through others I am always being and becoming ME. When my voice was still, you brought it back to life through the poems we share. My expressions need to be heard. And finally you taught me what love is: trust, honesty, and respect, especially when we are apart. Together, we continue to learn from one another. |
