Valeda is a warrior at heart but has been taught by a peace-seeking mentor. She has an internal strife that pulls at her while she tries to gain revenge for past wrongs. Valeda is the only surviving member of her immediate family after an attack on her home. As a child she grew up with her mentor Ilian, and was forced to learn the ways of battle to try to protect others from the evil which had turned her into an orphan. Her life was shaped around the actions of one man - Galtero, a human turned necromancer by magic beyond anyone's control. As she finds individual after indivdual who has been devistated by Galtero's malice, she decides that she can do nothing, but kill him. To avenge all of his wrongs, she seeks him out, blade in hand.
