Week Four

No dancing piccies tonight.  I am not talking to myself.  I didn't lose anything this week.  I didn't put anything on either, so I guess that is the main thing.
It was Alans birthday yesterday, so we went to his mums place for dinner on Saturday night.  His brother and sister-in-law were down from Toowoomba with the kids.
His mum put on this huge feast, and while it was all low point stuff, or recipes from the WW cook books, I ate too much!
Also, it was a long weekend, which meant I was home alone for 2 days. (Cause Alan was working).  It was cold, so I made this soup.  Heaps of vegies, and some soup mix.  I ate the lot!!  I couldn't stop eating all weekend.  I was just soooo hungry.  Thank god we didn't have any chocolates in the house.

I walked home the long way from my meeting tonight.  I think I might get my week one book out and follow my meal plan exactly again this week as I did that first week.  That was when I lost 3.1 kilos.  I must have done something right that week!

I have had a fairly good week.  I got my week one booklet out, but haven't followed it.  I realise why I didn't lose anything... I ate too much!  Also, I did NO exercise last week.
I have walked twice this week.  Hopefully I will be good and walk again tomorrow during my lunch break, that will make 3 exercise sessions this week.
Also, I haven't eaten near as much.  I am sick at the moment, and even though I am eating to keep my metabolism up, I am not constantly hungry.
I also started weighing my food this week.  I have never been able to tell by sight just how much a "small" serving is, so my scales have come out.  I soon discovered another problem... I have been giving myself large servings and not adjusting the points to reflect this.  I am now able to judge a small serving.

We did our grocery shop yesterday, and I stocked up on lots of things that are needed to make the recipes in the WW cookbook I bought.  I am looking forward to making some of the recipes, they look great.
I also found a yummy low point snack in the dairy section.  They are called "Aero Mousse" and I bought a chocolate and a mint chocolate flavour.  They work out to be only 1 point each!  That is great for when I have a chocolate craving.  I had one last night, my first taste of chocolate since I joined almost a month ago.  It was delicious!

Hopefully I will have a loss to record on Tuesday night.  I am coming up to my 1 month soon as I joined on the 23rd May.  I will take new measurements on the 23rd June.  I am interested to see how many centimetres have come off me!

A 0.8 kilo loss on Tuesday night will mean I am 5 kilos slimmer than a month ago!  That is an incentive for me to definitely take my walk tomorrow.  I should also take one on Tuesday, that will make 4 exercise sessions this week.

I am glad I am still motivated.  I hope this motivation stays with me for a long time.  I think all the support I am receiving from friends, family, workmates and internet pals is making it easier to stay on track.

Alan had a huge bowl of icecream and Ice-magic caramel topping last night.  I wasn't even tempted for a taste!  And of course, we now have lots of "naughty" foods in the cupboard following yesterdays shop.  (Chocolate fudge topping, ice cream, jelly)  It will stay there for Alan to eat!  I will stick to my carrot sticks!

Stay tuned for the Tuesday night meeting results!
