Hi there and welcome to my online country kitchen.  I wanted to include some of our family's favorite recipes for those who are interested, to try out for themselves.  I have alot of recipes, so I will update this page often, so please, if you decide to give them a whirl, email me back and let me know how it turned out.
My husband, Greg, has an OUTSTANDING recipe for chili, but he will NOT share it with me!  Well, he said he WOULD...but he would have to kill me after he told me! lol   That's ok, I DO STILL & FOREVER make BETTER spaghetti sauce than he does!!
ENJOY!!!

BREADED BONELESS PORK CHOPS
(A recipe given to me by my sister, Amy, who is an outstanding cook)

6-8 bonless pork chops                5 chicken flavored bullion cubes
1 cup margarine or butter             3  cups of italian bread crumbs

Preheat oven at 375 degrees.
Rinse off pork chops, set aside.
Melt 1 cup of margarine or butter in microwave until melted.
Put italian bread crumbs in a shallow bowl.
Place pork chop in the melted butter, then into the breadcrumbs. Repeat this process again with the same pork chop (dipping it twice in the butter, then the bread crumbs).  Brown off both sides of the chop in a frying pan over medium heat.
Place browned off chops in a 9x13 inch (greased) baking pan, and but a chicken-flavored bullion cube on each of the four corners of the baking pan, and one in the center.
Fill baking pan with enough water to cover a little less than the pork chop width.
Cover and bake at 375 degrees for about an hour (until done).

*THIS IS NICK AND NATE'S FAVORITE
SHRIMP DIP
Passed onto me from my Mom (who used to yell at us for picking all of the salad shrimp out and leaving the rest!) lol

This recipe is best if made a day ahead of serving.

1 8oz. pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese           1 lg. bag of shredded cheddar cheese
1 lg. container of sour cream                       2 lg. pkgs. frozen cooked salad shrimp
1 heaping tbs. horseradish                            salt to taste

Thaw the salad shrimp.  Mix all of the ingreadients together, except the shrimp.  After mixing well, fold in the salad shrimp (including any juices with the shrimp).  Serve with chips or crackers.

*We ALL love this snack, but especially, Nathan, Tammy, and myself!
Oh, yes, I do have to yell at Tammy for picking the shrimp out and leaving the rest! lol
Well, that's it for this month.  Be sure to check back for more recipe updates!
Have Fun!
Oh, and I'll work on getting that chili recipe! :o)
