This Toucan was another shy customer. He knew exactly what my camera was and took great pains to hide behind the leaves everytime I could focus on him. Notice the bars in the background of the pictures. Those same, close knit wires were in front of the bird as well. Everytime I would try and focus on the bird, the camera wanted to focus on the wires. Many, many pictures were taken of this bird, but in the end, it was all worth it. I have donated the bottom picture to the Honolulu Zoo and given them permission to use this picture on their webpage. How cool is that? |
