At first I thought that each picture was of a different bird. Then I asked a good friend, Louise Duke (who, at the time, was putting out the Animal Friends newsletter at Onelist) if she would help me in identifying these birds. She set them out and the answer was a juvinile (top) and adult (bottom) Redbilled Woodhoopoe.Thanks to Louise, Kathy in SA and Pippa (Community Officer at AfriCam) for helping to identify these beautiful birds!
