We live in a cottage style house just far enough away from the city to be "country". We are approximately five minutes away from the area schools. From our back porch we have a beautiful view of the mountains. To the left of our house is rolling pasture land with cattle and to the right is a small subdivision. Lance's mother lives about three minutes from us.
Lance and Jenni
Hello! We are Lance and Jenni, and we thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. We can't imagine how much hurt you must feel as you consider adoption, but we are praying for you and we hope that God will grant you peace as you make your decision. Please take a few minutes and read a little about us and take a look at some pictures of our lives. We would love the opportunity to talk with you.
WELCOME
Lance is 27 and Jenni is 26. We met in 2001 when Lance's great aunt set us up. We lived almost two hours apart (dating was a little hard) and probably would have never met had it not been for God's divine intervention. We got married in February 2002 and have been married for four years. We feel truly blessed by God to have found our soul mate. We have so much love to give and would love to be able to share our lives with our baby. We enjoy working outside with our flowers and gardens and taking walks down our street in the evenings during the summer. We also enjoy going on vacation together or with family, but we are both homebodies and don't tend to stay away from home for too long. We would like to have biological children someday, but we have also always desired to expand our family through adoption. Even while we were dating, we talked about wanting to adopt.

Our Beliefs
We are both of the Christian faith and are very involved in our church. Our church is an Independent Baptist, small, old fashioned, country church made up of very loving people. We have vacation Bible school every summer, along with things like Christmas plays, Easter egg hunts and youth Sundays. We would love to be able to share with our baby the story of Jesus and teach him or her songs like "Jesus Loves Me" and "The B-I-B-L-E."
Our Pets
We have two miniature Dachshunds. A boy named Samson and a girl named Pearl. They are very loving, friendly animals who adore children. We have just begun breeding Samson and Pearl and Pearl is now the proud mother of six puppies born August 21, 2006. We also have a black and white cat named Ruthie who we have had since we first got married. All of our anmials stay out doors.
Our Home
Our Family
Lance has a twin brother and a younger brother. His twin brother and his wife have two children and one on the way. I have a younger sister and older sister. My older sister has one child and another on the way. We have a very large, close knit family and enjoy getting together for holidays, birthdays and special occasions. They are all very supportive of our desire to adopt a baby. We are fortunate and blessed to have such a loving, close family and we hope to be able to share that love and closeness with our baby someday.

What We Are Looking For...
We would like to adopt a Caucasian infant, boy or girl (or twins) through open adoption, semi-closed adoption or closed adoption. This depends on what the birth mother feels is best and what we are comfortable with. The reason we would like a Caucasian infant is because we are both Caucasian and our entire family is Caucasian as well. We want our baby to feel as comfortable as possible and to feel like he or she belongs. We are willing to discuss future contact with the child by the birth mother such as cards, letters, pictures, etc. We would prefer no visits from the birth mother once the baby has been adopted, though we are willing to discuss this as well. We are willing to help pay for medical expenses related to the care and delivery of the baby. We are not currently working with an agency, but we will notify our attorney should we be contacted about a baby.
