Jennifer Bender
I am 25 years old from Ohio. I have a beautiful 7 year old daughter, Morgan. She means the world to me. Together we raise exotic animals called sugar gliders, and hedgehogs. It is a wonderful experience, and we both enjoy it tremendously.
I am a strong believer in fate. I know that everything happens for a reason. No matter how terrible it is. Be it a lesson we must learn, or just a new direction we must go. I look back at my life, and there are to many coincidences to say that there wasn't something greater at work. Each night I go to bed knowing that tomorrow God will guide me to where I need to be, even if at the time I am not happy with it.
I come from a very close family. They are always there when I need them. I really don't know what I would do with out my Grandma taking Morgan out of my hair for a while, when I really need a break. My mother being there when I need her the most. My fathers with the well intended "I was right", always lets me know that, although he doesn't say it often, he does love me. Both of my parents stand back just far enough to let me find out myself. As my daughter grows up, I am just beginning to see how hard it is to do. They do so much for me, certainly more that what I could ever say. I know that they don't always agree with the decisions I make in life, but they are always behind me. I know that I don't always say thank you, or say I love you enough, but words really don't express how much they mean to me.
This past year has opened several doors for me both emotional and spiritually. I guess it is true that you have to hit bottom to come back up. Recently I have found my way back to God, thanks to Novus Spiritus, and Sylvia Browne. I have always believed in God, but my belief system never felt right with any religion I had been taught as a child. I have since been an eager student to learn as much as I can, opening my heart, family, and life to God. Home
