Poems For Jenna

It has been another year since you
My sweet Jenna left me here.

The pain is still strong,
Though I have learned to live on,

Your smile your laugh your gentle way,
Without you here I often lose my way.

I long to hold, hug and kiss you.
Let you know how much I miss you.

Please remember you are my first, my daughter my love.
I know you will be watching over me from Heaven Above.

Written for Jenna's mommy

If you get a glimpse of an Angel
I need you to say hello.
She may have blond hair and blue eyes;
And the brightest smile you know.

She could be running and playing in the wind,
Laughing, catching balloons, watching the pinwheel spin.
She could be dancing to music, or happily at play,
She could be watching over us, on a very busy day.

She could be with us in church,
Or on our knees in prayer,
If you get a glimpse of this Angel,
Will you tell me that she's there?

Chances are she's playing, and dancing in the snow,
With little funny snowmen and Angels in a row.
All lines up and blowing us a kiss,
Now, I too believe in Angels....
I know they do exist.
