Aakumee Meadows

   This meadow is undoubtedly one of the most active you've ever come across. Small birds land to collect seeds and flutter away, fat rabbits hop here and there, nibbling daintily on some of the wild strawberries crowing in clumps with the long grass, and a strange, winged, deer-like creature sits complacently benieth a single apple tree in the center of everything. It looks up as you approach and motions with one of its feathery wings for you to seat yourself beside it.
     "Hello," it says in an unusual tongue that you find you can understand. "I am Narii, an aakumee stallion. Who are you?" You give him your name and ask him what an aakumee is.
     "We're a mixture between deer and dog," he says, "that enjoy open meadows such as this. At the moment I am the only one of my kind here, but I hope that there will be another soon.

A pretty mare perhaps. You could always visit again later." You nod, saying that you will, and thank him for sharing the shade. As you walk away you can see him stand up against the tree's trunk and snatch a juicy red apple from its branches.
