| Owen Putnam State Forest is located near Spencer Indiana, the Horsemans camp has 20 class C sites with hitching posts for horses, No water for human consumption, but water for horses, Pit toilets, 25 Miles of trails mostley wooded trails, with some stream crossing of only a few inches deep, PH: 812-829-2461 bridle tags required Green Sullivan State Forest is located near Dugger Indiana the horsemans camp is primitive with water nearby, hitching posts and small pens for the horses. Many miles of hilly trails in wooded forests around the 100+ lakes here, just beautiful country to ride and camp. Pit toilets only. No shower house or electric. Take your fishing pole along! PH: 812-6482810 bridle tags required Yellowwood State Forest is located near Nashville Indiana, Please use this park as we are in danger of losing it! Yellowwood horsemans camp is also a primitive camp, with water and pit toilets, 11 class C campsites with hitching posts. Many miles of trails wind around the 130 acre lake and through the hardwood forests. PH: 812-988-7945 Bridle tags required Harrison Crawford State Forest is located in southern Indiana near Corydon, The horsemans camp has 47 class B sites, water is available no electric. nice Shower house with flush toilets. Hitching posts or picketlines. Many miles of wonderful riding here, Hills and lots of overlooks to see, riding along the Ohio and Blue river are just fantastic! Bridle tags required here. | Salamonie Lake is located near Andrews Indiana in the northern part of the state. The horsemans camp has 37 Class C sites, with water and pit toilets . the trails here are mostly hilly and in the woods. Make sure your horse is in condition. You can ride to the lake and even take your horse for a swim. Beautiful riding here, PH: 219-468-2125 bridle tags required Brown County State Park located near Nashville Indiana is one of the most popular parks in Indiana, the horsemans camp has 118 Class A sites with water and Electric, shower house and flush toilets, also 87 Class C primitive sites. Many miles of trails wind through the beautiful hardwood forests of southern Indiana. Bridle tags required PH: 812-988-6406 Hoosier National Forest Blackwell Horsemans camp ground is located near Bloomington Indiana and has 100 Class C campsites with hitching posts and small pens for the horses, NO WATER or electric.
