Why did you decide to become a teacher? |
I
became a teacher because it fit more with my lifestyle choice to be married and
have children. Fortunately it is probably
one of the best decisions of my life. I
love teaching, science, and the students!
| Why did you decide to become a doctor in education? |
My motivation for becoming a doctoral student was working with Dr. Hassard on the Global Thinking Project. During the time, I did not have a masters and my principal, and two other colleagues were working on their doctoral degrees using the project as part of their research. I enjoyed the project and the collaboration between the professors, teachers and students, I enrolled in the masters program the following semester.
| What are your plans after you graduate? |
After graduation, my immediate plans are to remain at Dunwoody until my children are older. (daughter- 16, sons - 13,10,& 9).
