Hi there!Once again time has gotten away from me!I guess that's a good sign, right?It is! Jenna is great!Since I last wrote we went to clinic,last week and everything looked good so they gave us this week off.Well when we got home from clinic last week we couldn't get Jenna to wake up,ALL DAY!So that night we ended up calling her doctor and they thought it would be a good idea to take her to the emergency room in Santa Rosa.Well we were all prepared to get upset because we just knew they were going to try and make us wait in a room full of sick people.It was great,we got there,Randy went in and told them who we were,they said they were expecting us and had us pull around back,when we did they had 2 doctors waiting for us.They ushered us into a private room and sent the pediatricians in.The best part was that the on call pediatrician was Dr.Gaiton, the one that our doctor sent us to when he couldn't figure out what was wrong with Jenna.This is the doctor that diagnosed her in 20 miniutes.He was very excited to see her and to hear how she was doing,we got the chance to thank him and tell him that he saved our baby's life,he was so cute he looked very proud.He is a young doctor who just finished his residency and he is wonderful!!Well it turned out that she had some sort of virus because we all ended up not feeling very good.The good part of it was that her body fought it off!A couple of days and she was back to her old self again.
Jenna's rash is gone and her blood pressure is great(knock on wood).They have continued with the steroid taper so she is back down to 12mg a day.Hopefully this won't bring the rash back on.So she is really doing great,we go back in to clinic on this coming Wednsday,i'll try and get out the next update sooner this time!
Shawna Perkins was scheduled for a c-section last Thursday at noon but I haven't heard anything ,I am sure all went well.She wrote the day before she went in and said she is wondering what Romie will think of the new baby and that R.J wanted to know if the doctor was going to pop her tomorrow?Very cute.Last I heard Romie was doing very well also.
As I write this Jenna just came out of Lindsays room with her headphones on(must see to appreciate),she is quite the character.
