I was awoke this morning by my little bean giving me kisses!
This is her new trick she smack's her lip's together and kisses you.I really prefer this way of being woken up as opposed to her former....pulling my hair and taking her finger's and prying my eyelid's open!Well we have our happy baby once again! She has been so much happier lately.I can actually do a load of laundry without holding her!She just roams the house looking for toy's.
She had another appointment at the out patient clinic yesterday. She is still doing really well. Her cyclosporine level was way high ,it is supposed to be around 160 and Jenna's was around 460,so they are lowering it.Her blood pressure has been creeping back up again as well, this is most likely because her cyclosporine level was way up there.Hopefully once the level goes down so will the BP.Her WBC was 2.9 and her ANC was 1.9.These are good levels, she hasn't had the growth booster since the time in the hospital when her levels dropped so much,so she's making these on her own.Her other levels are all good too.She hasn't had to have a blood or platlett transfusion in weeks, this is great! She still has some rash but they are now thinking it is not GVHD but just some sort of allergic reaction to the diaper's,so we'll just wait and see.
My mom came over last Saturday and stayed with the girls so Randy and I could go to a fund raiser in the city for the family house where we sorta stayed while Jenna was in the hospital.(actually where we showered)we pretty much slept in Jennas room the whole time.It was a formal so we got all dressed up which was kinda fun,I felt like we were going to the prom!We were walking down the street and I was trying not to step on my dress and I ran smack into someone,I look up and it was Gina Davis!Very cool!I recognized her instantly, but she didn't recognize me?????Go figure?Just kidding! It was very cool!It was really nice to get out, we had a great time.
Last weekend was so hot we took Jenna out to the beach on Sunday, she had a blast! It was so nice.Sun is a very scary thing for her now and will alway's be a problem because of the chemotherapy.A sunburn can bring on GVHD,so when Jenna goes out we goop her from head to toe with sunblock, put a large hat on her and cover her as well as we can.We brought a big blanket to keep Jenna out of the dirty sand and our beach umbrella to keep her out of the sun.She played and ate her picnic,it was a nice day.She can't go in the water but we took her down and she watched me splash the waves and she would just cackle, she thought it was so funny!
Well We hope you are all well!Take care!
Lot's of Love,
Randy,Kristi Lindsay & Jenna

Jennas big girl bed(not that she'll ever sleep in it!!)
