Hi everyone!Hope everyone is good!Jenna is doing great. She had her first appointment at the outpatient clinic today. It went really well ,we were up at 5:30 drawing blood to take then we got ready, dropped Lindsay off at mom's and were in the city at 8:30.They took her right into a room and we didn't have to wait at all, apparently the first appointment in the morning is the best to have. The thing that strikes us as strange is that they tell us to stay away from crowd's and children then tell us to come there with the elevator's and all of the people! It make's us quite uneasy but what are we gonna do?We put her mask on and put her in her stroller and cover her with a blanket. That oughtta do it. The only thing they are concerned about at this point is her rash.It is alot worse on her rear-end.They aren't convinced this is a gvhd rash so we are going to watch it real close and we'll be back in next Wednsday,or sooner if needed. The real good new's is that Jenna is feeling so much like her old self again! It is great, for a while there all she would do is cry. She still has her moment's, but they are fewer and farther in between. We think it was a combination of the adjustment to coming home, the prednisone, and the darn tooth thing! It has been quite the adjustment for us all but we are getting there.Randy say's we were used to living like cat's! Lazy! Hopefully she will continue to go in the right direction! Our backyard is wonderful, she loves playing on her grass and swinging on her swing. We love seeing that great smile, that light's up the room!It also does our heart's good to see Lindsay and Jenna rolling around on the floor giggling as if nothing ever happened.Normal! We just forgot what normal was! ;) Well I think that's about it for now! Take care everyone! Love, Randy,Kristi,Lindsay & Jenna |
