DAY+

Well long time no write!Sorry!
Luckily there hasn't been much to tell on the medical front.Jenna is doing great!
March was a very busy month.First we took the girls to Disneyland for 4 days and had a wonderful time and never wanted to leave.Jenna thought it was great but really the Carousel horses were the only thing she wanted to do!OVER and OVER again!!It was a nice normal break from the realities of life;)I added a picture but it is huge, for some reason my computer didn't shrink it right.
When we got home from Disneyland,my sister Kim from Idaho came down with her husband Ed and 4 of their 6 kids. They stayed for almost a week and we never wanted them to leave. We had a great time and Jenna really enjoyed playing with the kids.I don't think family should ever live so far apart. It just doesn't seem fair, but it was so nice to see them all!
Next we had our family house fundraiser to go to in the city. This is the same one we went to last year. This is the house where children with cancer and their families can stay while going through treatments. It is a great place and right next to the hospital, they were so helpful to us while Jenna was in the hospital and we will stay there at the end of this month for two days while Jenna goes through her 1 year post transplant testing.
Ron and Shawna Perkins and Ron's mom Chris went as well.We had a good time visiting with them out of the hospital environment.Romie is home and doing pretty good.I guess any day he is home is a better day for them all. He still has alot of feeding issues that they deal with on a daily basis, but they all seem to be hanging in there!
Like I said before we are going to be going in on the 24th of this month and having the one year post testing done.I'll update again once I get all of those results back.We also have to go down on Monday so Jenna can have her back checked  on again.
Jenna is going to be evaluated for speech and physical therapy this next week as well. This is something we have been trying to get done for months but no one seemed to think it was necessary until she was out of isolation.?Most Hurler kids that I know of have had it from the get go.???At least we are getting it going now.
I have been trying to get Jenna used to the idea of the potty. She will actually sit there for a little bit but then she is done and gets up and goes on the floor!!!I guess we need to keep working on this one.I really don't think she is quite ready, so just getting her to sit there for a minute is good enough for now.
Well on the house front we are getting underway with the building real soon here and as soon as school is out we are moving up to the property and living in a 28 ft. travel trailer, until the house is built. The big joke around our house is who will walk out of that little trailer alive when all is said and done?I think anyone who knows me, knows that will be me!!!;)
We checked into the schools and are very impressed.Lindsay is excited because they have lots of sports and most importantly Basketball! She must have Basketball!
Well I think I covered just about all of the months activities! We will be celebrating on the 11th of this month Jennas 1 year post transplant new life birthday!YAY!!!!We are all so excited about this date!
We hope all is good for you all!
Love,
The Watson Family
