Hi there!
I had to add this picture to show Jennas piggy tails!!She is getting so much hair!
We had our appointment at clinic yesterday and saw Dr.Cowan.He seems very happy with how Jenna is doing. So are we,there really wasn't much to discuss, she is doing so well. She has never seemed healthier or happier than she does now and we couldn't be more happy about it.
We also saw Dr Delgado, the Orthopedic surgeon there at UC and we were very happy with her and she really seems to know what she is talking about.Apparently she is working closely with Dr.Krivitt in Minnesota and will be following his guidelines with her Hurler patients.Which for now means they will just watch Jenna really closely and hope that her back improves. If it starts to get worse they will do something right away but if she has to have surgery to fuse her spinal cord they want it to be later on after she has had a chance to grow.
We were pretty happy with Dr. Delgado, she gave us a much better feeling than Shriners.
Please continue to pray for little Julia Moran. She is doing better according to the last update I recieved from Lisa Post. She is still on a vent but it sounds like her kidneys are working on their own now,she was recieving dialysis for a short time.It sounds like things are starting to look up.;)
Also our little buddy Romie Perkins is back in the hospital with more complications,he had to have a button in his tummy to try and help his gut problems but this seems to have made things worse so they are trying to figure out what is going on.He also had C-diff and his platletts have been real unstable. So Romie we have been thinking about you everyday and we will hope and pray that things even back out and you get to go home very soon and play with your brothers! We love you!!
Thanks everyone for your support in praying for these wonderful little children we have been blessed with,we appreciate it!
Love,
Kristi,Randy,Lindsay & Jenna
