DAY+
24

Hi!What a day!
Randy went home this morning,to run errend's and of course Jenna decided to have her worse day yet.She either cried or slept all day.She doesn't have a fever but it seem's like she really doesn't feel good.I don't think I have ever gone a whole day without seeing that smile!
The great new's is that the GCSF brought her count's up.Way up!Her WBC is 14 and her ANC is 13,that actually mean's 14,000-13,000.Those are high number's.
Normal for WBC is 5.5-17.5 ANC is 1-8.5
So the ANC is higher than normal.None of this mean's that she is engrafting with donor cell's,we can't know that for sure until the engraftment study comes back.It is still good new's because if the GCSF didn't bring the numbers up we would know thing's aren't good.
I have learned to draw all of Jenna's med's,and have been doing that on my own.I have changed her dressing on her Broviac since we have been here and today I started learning how to do blood draws and flush her lines.Once I can do it all we just have to wait for the go ahead from the Dr's and hopefully get home!Oh we miss home!We miss Lindsay and Turbo.Randy is going to go home again tomorrow and start getting the house ready for Jenna. He has to get her play yard done because the dirt that is back there is bad new's for Jenna.Fungal infection is the worse for Jenna right now and appartenly fungus lives in dust and dirt. That will be so nice for her to have a yard to play in though. We bought her a swing set before we left,it will be great to have her home swinging on it.
Hopefully Randy will be able to bring Lindsay back and she'll be able to come in and see Jenna. She is just shy of the 12 year old limit so we'll have to talk to the doc's.
I guess that's about it for now I really hope Jenna starts to feel better soon!Have a great weekend!
Lot's of Love,
Kristi,Randy & Jenna
