Hi everyone!Hope you all are doing good!
Well it's 3 week's post transplant today!!It sure has been flying by!Little Miss Jenna seem's to be doing pretty much the same.Her WBC is down again today to 2.2 and her ANC are 1.5.Again they tell us this is normal and that they will only start the GCSF again if they drop to below 1000.We were not quite understanding all of this so we asked the Dr. to come back in and explain it all better.She is very confident that Jenna is engrafting.That makes us feel very good but we'll jump for joy when the engraftment study comes back and tell's us for sure!
Meanwhile they sent a stool sample out yesterday to check and see if Jenna's diarreah is from an infection.If not they are going to do the endoscopy on Thursday or Friday to see if it is GVHD.
The attending Dr's in the BMT unit rotate every few week's and we are back to Dr.Horn,she is fantastic,she makes everything so easy to understand,and answers our question's as if she really care's,we really appreciate having her back!
As for Jenna's mood, it appear's to be a little better today.She's alot more smiley,alot less mean. =)We'll take her mean or
smiley.She's so funny!When the Dr's or nurses try to lift her shirt to look at her Broviac she will grab it and yank it back down and look at them like HEY!!No privacy at all!
Well I think that is just about it for now!
