Hi!Well Jenna's number's were lower today but they keep telling us that it is completely normal.It is because of the fact that they took her off of the GCSF which is the immune boosting drug.Her numbers today are WBC-2.6 and ANC-1.5
they said these number's are still great,especially since they aren't drug induced.
The doctor's say now that we will be here for a while longer.Jenna has had alot of diarreah and her rash is still coming and going.They are going to do an endoscopy either tomorrow or Wednsday,this will tell them for sure wether or not she has GVH or if the diarreah is from an infection.The treatment for these two problem's are totally opposite so they need to find out for sure which it is so they can treat it
properly.They sent out the blood for the engraftment study today so it should be about a week until we know anything
on that front.
Jenna continues to be sooo moody!She was having a fit and trying to get out the door so the nurse said it would be alright to take her out for a stroll.Well we got her in her car and half way out the door before we realized Romie was already out in his car,so we had to come back in.They can't both be out at the same time.Oh my goodness!You'd of thought someone pulled off her arm!She screamed and screamed.Shawna and Romie took pity on her and went back in so she could come out,but by then she was so mad she couldn't see straight.We just had to bring her back in and spare everyone's ear's!Dr.Horn,one of the attending's was out to witness this show and said it is typical Prednisone,she assures us it will level back out next week.OH MY!!!
Today Bill Miller,a third baseman for the Giant's came by and gave Jenna a hat and we got his picture with Randy and Jenna.He was a really nice guy.I am sure he made some of the little boy's that are here very happy.It was really nice.
