DAY + 1 Hi again! Well everything went fine after the transplant last night.Today she is quite a bit more fussy. They have been giving her a small amount of morphine to help with that. She pretty much slept the day away, which was probably best for her.The mucocitis that is caused by the chemo usually gets worse for the next 2 week's,so we'll see how that goes.So far they think that it is in her throat and tummy, but we have seen no signs in her mouth.Something is obviously hurting her because her cry is different today. She has won the heart of all of her nurses in the short period of time she's been here. They are sad when they have to take a day off and be away from her.Tonite we have a new nurse who look's alot like my sister, Kellie whom Jenna adores. As soon as she walked into the room Jenna went right to her.Don't worry Kellie she figured her out real quick! No imposter's!It's nice that she no longer cry's when they check her out.She now smiles at them when they come in and sometimes even blow's kisses when they leave (very cute!)She sure know's how to work a crowd! :) Well now we wait and see what happen's next.We won't know for a couple of week's if she engraft's.Pray Pray Pray! Then if she has engrafted we wait and pray she does not get graft verses host disease. So as you can see we still have a long way to go yet. Again thank you all so much for your support and prayer's,It is so helpful to know you are out there and that we're not alone in this! Lot's of Love, Randy,Kristi & Jenna |
