Well we are here and plugged in. What a day we had yesterday. We got up and got down here by 8:30 so we thought.Nobody mentioned that daylight saving's was this weekend!I guess we were preoccupied! It wasn't a big deal anyway. Once we got here we had to clean everything that goes into the room with alcohol before it goes in.So that took Randy a while. We had to learn to scrub the right way before we enter her room. They took Jenna's clothes off of her and we scrubbed her down with antibacterial stuff and she won't leave this room until well after her transplant when she has enough white count built up to fight infection off, which could be a while. They do everything in this room.We can't eat in here so we have to take turn's going to the cafeteria and eating. There are actually alot of other parent's down here doing the same thing.Jenna is already going stir crazy. She want's to get up and play but she has alot of tubes so it is hard to chase her and make sure she doesn't pull on her line's.We made it until 6:00 this morning with the tube in her nose before she accidently pulled it out in her sleep. So they had to re-do it anyway because her Chemo started at 9:00 this morning and that's where they put it in.It went fine the Dr. put it right in,Jenna hated it of course but at least it was fast. They started her Chemo at 9:00am.They gave her one dose then and took blood all day again to check and see how her body processes it.Apparrently she is processing it very fast so they have to make some adjustment's.She got another dose at 3:00pm.It will continue on like this for the next 4 day's then they switch chemo drug's.This is considered day -08 tomorrow is -07 and so on until day 0 which is April 11th.Transplant day. So far Jenna has been doing really well. She is just cranky. She is sick of all these people poking around.I hope she get's used to it real soon, for her sake. They said to expect it to get harder as the day's go on.But so far she really is a trooper, just bored!I think she might be getting sick of her Teletubbie's already.Naaah! I think I told most of you about our little friend Roman Perkin's who is up here.He is 4 day's older than Jenna and also has Hurler's.He was transplanted back in October, did really well and went home in one month but had to come back two week's later. He has been here ever since. He has had alot of complication's but they say he is doing better.Ron & Shawna Perkin's are expecting another baby in June and the Dr's told them to expect to still be here then. That's sure a long time!I feel so bad for them. But at least he is 100%engrafted and has good count's.They also have another little boy R.J who is 3.Neither the baby or R.J have Hurler's.Thank Goodness! Well I hope I didn't forget anything. If you have any question's e-mail us and we'll answer them! Take care everyone! Please keep praying for Jenna, the hard stuff is just beginning.
