UPDATE~4~08~2000
Well I was really excited to write and tell you all what a wonderful day Jenna had,then...
They decided to put an IV in for something called Mesna that can't be put in through her Broviac line.They first tried her hand and the needle went right through her vein.So they had to put it in her foot.It really hurt and of course she screamed and screamed.We felt so bad because she was at a point where she trusted us again and she never cried when the nurses came in the room,she even stuck out her leg when they needed to take her blood pressure.
I hope this doesn't put us back to where she is afraid of everyone again.
Other than that she had an amazing day!She has been great all day .The ATG seemed to have no affect on her today.She ran fever's last night but they were controlled by Tylenol and today she ate almost a whole grilled cheese sandwich! Coming from our little bird eater we were very happy.The nurses said alot of kid's don't have an appetite at this point.So she's doing really well.She was up and running around the room all day playing with her toy's which is great because she's still walking and getting her exercise.They tell us that sometimes little ones regress and stop walking after being in the hospital so hopefully we can keep her well enough to keep it up.
Well please pray we'll have another great night and day tomorrow,but as we know the more day's this stuff is in her system,the more effect it will have.She is our little trooper though so we are very hopeful that she will continue to do so well!
Lindsay and my mom were supposed to get to come and visit us today but Lindsay seem to have caught a cold so they couldn't.Now it is probably going to be a while before we can see them!We hope you feel better soon Linds!Love you!Hopefully we'll get our video cam's figured out soon so we can see each other!
