Goodbye Winter

When she finally removed
That heavy wool coat,
She remembered again
How to breathe deeply.

So many corners and regions
Of her body had wilted
From lack of oxygen.

She cleansed those suffocated
Parts with simple breath.

........she cried......

And the water from her oceanic tears
Set her afloat to a new, softer greener place.
