I was born in Buffalo, New York (1973), and raised in Alaska from the time I was 2 months old until I was 17. I moved around alot before finding my way to the south in 1992.
Having lived in Alaska, New York, Minnesota, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Nevada, and now Alabama, I have had a chance to see many things. Sometimes I moved a by choice, a few times with family, and a few times, well, lets just say I have been known to submit to temporary insanity.
Being a hopeless romantic, I have always wanted the fairy tale of life, the husband, children, home, and the white picket fence... someday I'll get that pickett fence. Ok so it might be outside the trailer... lol but it will STILL be a picket fence!
In my spare time, I enjoy chatting with my friends on Mirc, where I am on undernet in the #Alabama or the #Falcon`s_roost, channel.. My nick name there is AlGrl, formerly JennTx.
My family is here and there. We have never been really close in miles, but my imediate family is always close at heart.
I haven't many hobbies, however there are tons of things that I am interested in and you can find them on my Interests page.
I have met alot of people that I enjoy spending time with, talking with, or just plain haveing fun with. So take a minute or two to meet my Friends.

My mother said that picture (opening page) was taken when I was going to see the Easter Bunny in the Kenai Mall, Kenai, Alaska.... and that I hated the bunny!
Some of my favorite things are: Being with friends, sharing quite time with myself, dancing, swimming, travel (duh), decorating, cooking, baking, (no, I'm not Martha Stuart!) Yellow roses are the most beautiful flower to me, and now that I have seen white roses, they are too. Let's not forget sunflowers...
Cooks American Spumatne Sparkling Wine, (only found out this after trying many NASTY bottles of other wines), country music, Rodeo's (been to two so far), horse back riding, (years ago), going to see Hockey games, watching the Jacksonville Jaguars, and even the Bills, when they aren't playing Jax... afterall, they are the "home" team. (if Jax and Bflo play, well sorry bflo). I like Alabama football for college, and I guess that's a territory thing, above Birmingham goes for Alabama (ROLL TIDE) and below Birmingham, they go for Auburn (WAR EAGLE). My newest love is race cars! My friends race at The Huntsville Speedway.
My dislikes aren't that many...
I detest liars... simple as can be... even if the lie is a little white one, it is still a lie, and if you can't respect someone enough to tell the truth, why bother even being around them... Open cupbard doors are the WORST!! I walk around behind people pretending to be Vanna White (I only wish I looked like her - well not really). lets see... what else can I warn ya about... toilet seats up don't bother me, as much as the cupboard thingie, but they aren't my favorite thing to discover... (expecially in the middle of the night when you lease expect it, and have other things on your mind.)
As for a favorite food, I guess that would have to be Lasagna. My favorite veggie, is a toss up between corn and brussle sprouts.(no cheese please)
I am a Dr. Pepper girl, but can handle a Coke now and then, and my favorite back up is Sprite. It's funny, because where I come from we call it Pop, and here in the south it doesn't matter if it is Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Mountain Dew or Pepsi, it's still called Coke. So if you say, I'd like a coke, they say "which kind", enough to make a sane person crazy... (shhhh don't say a thing).
I am often asked, what kind of movies do you like, well I can't narrow it down to just one type, as I like several different movies, that fall into different catetgories. When I was little my favorite movie was Condor Man, have no clue, and don't remember it, so dont ask! Now that I am an adult, my favorite movie is Pretty Woman. (makes you want to become a hooker, just so you can meet Richard Gere) I like romatic comedy, some action movies, and here and there, I may even be inclined to say I enjoyed a science fiction movie... not many but some. However, the only time you will see me watching Star Trek, is if there is absolutely NOTHING else on, and if I am completley intoxicated!....
As for music, I listen to most all music, but my favorite type is country and I have some favorites there too...
