Time yet again for one of those ever so infrequent updates I send out! As you can imagine family obligations keep me relatively busy these days. The way I see it, better late then never though.....so here goes!
As for new and exciting things, Doug and Jason are done with school for the year. it was a productive year. Jason is reading very well and they both seemed to have grown so much. Their areas of interest for the moment are gameboys, nintendo, rock collecting, reading the adventures of captain underpants( a book definately made with little boys in mind!), and playing out in the hot sun. we have a wading pool set up in the backyard and all the kids are enjoying it, minus William. Jason has lost two baby teeth, the first of which he lost the day after his 7th birthday. Wlliam has gained two bottom front teeth, the same ones Jason lost! Kiera is a regular little girl, painted toenails and all. Very sassy, yet so sweet. She is back on her acid meds after waking up several times a night for many weeks and unexplained vomitting. After just a few days on the meds she seems good as gold and I am again able to sleep through the night. :) William has changed enormaously over the past week. He went from a whiney frusterated little guy to being able to stay in a sitting position, get in a sitting position on his own and crawling all in a matter of several days. He is so much happier and sheds much less tears. The boys leave for Arkansas at the end of the week. They will be gone for 7 weeks at the end of which we will meet them in DeSoto for a family vacation. I cant wait! We are planning on spending 4th of July at lake michigan with my parents. I am excited for that as well. Our summer is sure to be full of adventures. Especially with Kiera tagging along. I have to tell you all about our beach experiences. We have a wonderful little beach here at a man made lake that we enjoying spending time at. Well, Kiera shoots off into the water after her brothers and just keeps going. I have to tell her about every 5 seconds to come closer to shore. At one point the lifeguard had to chase after her and on more than one occasion she has fallen under and i have had to fish her out after she is completely under the water flailing. Okay this is where it gets fun.... she is under the water, moments away from drowning if there was no one there to pull her back up and what does little miss kiera do? Wipes off her eyes and run for the deep end again. I am happy that we have seem to done our job as parents in making her feel secure, but wow, I cant tell you how stressful a trip to the beach is! I'm sure you can imagine though! Well, its time to make supper so I'll end this here. be sure to check out the pal'n around picture pages as they have both been updated with recent pictures. Have a blessed summer.
