The King and I is Rodgers and Hammerstain�s musical. It opened in West End last May with Elaine in the leadrole as Anna Leonowens and The King was played by Jason Scott Lee but later it was played by Paul Nakauchi. It�s a great musical and if you just have a change to go and see it GO! If you start cry easily be prepared that in this musical you will cry.... all anyway I did.

The musical tells a story based on Margaret Landons novel called Anna and the King of Siam. Anna Leonowens ia a school teacher who leaves from England to Siam to teach The Kings childrens. Because Anna and the King are from different cultures they have misunderstandings and at first they don�t really like each other. Anyway the King needs some help from Anna and they became closer to each other. Because their culture differences they can� be together so Anna decides to leave Siam. The musical ends in scene where King dies in the arms of a woman thet he loves, Anna.
