I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Arlington, Texas. I now live in Dallas and work for Pegasus Solutions in Dallas. I hold a B.S. degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Information Systems and Management Sciences. I have two sisters, Kim and Amy, and, of course, two parents, Scotty and Sue. My parents and Amy live in Grand Prairie, Texas and Kim lives with me in Dallas. I enjoy shopping, both in person and online, and dinner out and movies. In my spare time I like to cross-stitch, surf the Internet and cook. Most of my cooking experiments are tried out on Justin, so he's got a good deal going right now. He's very supportive of my efforts.
Justin was born and raised in Euless, Texas. He currently owns a house in Dallas' historic district on Swiss Avenue. He is a business project manager for Comdisco in Richardson, Texas. He holds a B.A. degree from Hillsdale College in Political Economy and an M.B.A. from the Cox Professional MBA Program at Southern Methodist University. He has one sister, Jodi, and parents, Rodney and Brenda. He enjoys taking Jennifer to dinner and movies, travelling, and surfing the Internet. Most of his spare time right now is spent working on the house. It is 80 years old, so it needs some tender loving care.
This is Justin's sister, Jodi, and she is responsible for this big charade. We had a class at school together back in November of 1997. She thought I was cute, bubbly, and nice and that I would be good for her brother who had recently moved to Dallas from Houston. So she began the "sell-job" of dating her brother. After much cajoling and seeing a picture of Justin with one of his baby nephews (father material here) and after several emails from Justin himself asking me out, I finally called him up and told him that I would go out with him. So the date was made, November 14, 1997, for a Tex-Mex restaurant in Arlington called Chuy's. There we were, setting ourselves up for a blind date. Justin arrived before I did and put his name on the list. Once I got there I saw him and he was just so adorable. I was happy instantly. Since there was an hour wait we went over to Barnes and Noble, right next door, and browsed books. We ended up in the Children's section and be talked about his nephews. All the while there were butterflies in my stomach. We finally sat down to dinner and got to know each other and by the end of dinner I was confident that he was going to be mine. So there you have it. And we're still very happy today.![]()
