I assumed the team lead role and led the team in production processing and loading Informix and Redbrick datamarts. I now work on a team called Decision Support where I provide infrastructure and UNIX support on Brio applications.

Associate Applications Developer. This is a world-reknown specialty retail company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. There are three divisions, Neiman Marcus stores, Neiman Marcus Direct and New York retailer Bergdorf Goodman. I was on the Neiman Marcus Direct Marketing/Data Warehouse team. I worked with data and business models. I have experience with the data analysis and reporting packages, Seagate Info and Crystal reports. I have developed a data mart prototype using Comshare's Decision tool. I have done programming in Microfocus Cobol for UNIX and I can utilize Informix, UniVerse and Ingres databases.
DuPont Flooring Systems, Inc., Dallas, Texas.
June 1998-May 1999. Project Coordinator.
This is a full-service flooring company. The company sells, installs, and maintains both commercial and residential flooring. My duties included processing legal paperwork pertaining to contracts, processing billings, purchase orders, debit memos, and shipping invoices, directly assisting salespeople with daily tasks and project coordination, and maintaining a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet containing branch-wide debit memos.

Dillard's Department Stores,
Inc.,
Arlington, Texas. August 1996-June 1998. Sales Associate.
This is a nationwide department store selling many types of merchandise,
including men's, women's, and children's wear and shoes, jewelry,
accessories, housewares, and electronics. I was a sales associate
in the Junior's Department. My responsibilities included daily
selling of trendy clothing, promotions, and customer service,
customer returns, shipments, and electronic markdowns using a
scanner. My selling duties included achievement of an hourly
sales quota. I was honored with the 1997 Pacesetter award for
outstanding sales achievement.
Precision
Business Machines, Inc., Grand Prairie, Texas. April 1995-July
1996.
This company sold large-scale printing machines and other office
presentation machines. I was in customer service and also office
manager for a while. Responsibilities included paperwork and
data entry relevant to customer orders, company orders, order
and payment receipts, invoices, shipping activities, and mass
mailouts for promotions. I dealt daily with customers, sales
associates, managers, and owners. The software utilized was BusinessWorks
and Microsoft Excel.

Arlington, Texas. November 1993-April 1995.
Assistant Customer Service Manager. This was a discount retail store that sold apparel, foodstuffs, cosmetics, housewares, toys, and electronics. I was responsible for all operations at the front end of the store. I handled customer comments and inquiries, maintained customer service department and cashiers. I also operated a CICS for beginning- and end-of-day procedures.
