| Little Rafael is only 10 years old but is not a normal child at all. He fasted and prayed for 7 days without anyone telling him to do so. He has a passion for prayer and for the Word. People like to call him "pastor" at the camp because he loves to pray for the sick and read the Word (many people are illiterate in Mozambique so being able to read is a big thing). He's a very special and gifted child who really loves Jesus. |
| Please pray for Pastor Lucia. She's 26 years old and both of her parents died when she was younger. She has a heart for children and prostitutes. She's very powerful in prayer and God has used her to cast out many demons at the camp. Please pray for her to resist temptaion, stay pure, have a growing intimacy with Jesus, and for wisdom. |
| Rafael is 17 years old and loves to serve and evangelize. He helped to build a canisu wall by the house. He also travels, on foot, to neighboring villiages to share the Good News of Jesus. |
| Please pray for the Christians at Camp 2000, that they would continue to fall deeper in love with Jesus and that they would shine His love onto others. Also pray for the community at Camp 2000, that people would forsake witchcraft and cling to the only living and true God. Pray that they would be protected against Aids and Malaria there and that God would provide them with food to eat each day. |
| Pastor Cebastion has a heart for evangelism and orphans. On his birthday he went out alone to share the Gospel, walking miles to reach the next villiage. He has a heart and wants to take in orphans. He just recently married a woman with a daughter that can't speak. Pray that God would touch her tongue and heal her. Pray for him to have spiritual authority in the camp, for wisdom, discernment, and boldness. |
