Ok, it's been a while, but we are back to updating our news here. A lot did happen over the past year! Jen will be with her first year's work. Keitaro will be graduating in May. We have two new nephews. We hope to have the photos up soon!

Jennifer is accepted to University of Illinois' MBA program!

12/14/01

Phew!  It's been months since the last updates.  Keitaro is done with the first semester.  Jennifer's dad, John, will be graduating.  David and Kindall had their baby.  His name is Isaac John.  He was born on 12/12/01 (pretty easy to remember, eh?)

Keitaro starts graduate school.  He will be studying statistics.

Carson Augustus Retter is born.  He is Sara's second baby.

Jen finally got to visit Japan.  She met almost all of Keitaro's relatives.  It was a wonderful time.  We would like to visit again soon.

We've been together for 7 years today!  We had a dinner with a couple who got married on the same day, in the same church as ours.  They were married 3 hours before our wedding.

Well, it's official now.  We are going to JAPAN!!!  Keitaro has not been to Japan since 1/96.  We will visit Keitaro's families for a month.

Another good news is that 7 out of 9 kittens went back today.  We had these guys for over 2 months.  We are happy that they are healthy, but a bit sad that they are leaving.  Lots of love to them!

We switched our ISP to AT&T @Home.  We'll see how the service performs.  Initial tests show the connection speed of over 3000 Kbps!

It's a miracle!  We really didn't think Cotton would make it, but she is back for good.  She has been renamed Miracle.  We witnessed nature's blessing today.

We have named all our kittens.  They are:

Olympic, Rainier, Fog, Mist, Sunburst, Raja, C.C., and Bear.  Cotton, the only girl, is sick. :(

New foster kittens.  Our new record, 9 of them!  We have named a few.  They are Olympic, Rainier, C.C. (for chocolate cookies), and Bear.

We have now fostered 9 groups of kittens/cats.

Katharine (Katie) Nicole Retter was born at 9:13 pm.  Her measurements are 17 ½ inches and 5 lb. 11 oz.  See the latest here.

Keitaro has been accepted to the graduate school at the University of Illinois.  He plans to start the fall of 2001.  His major will be applied mathematics (actuarial science). What is actuarial science?

We have 4 foster kittens.  One orange tabby girl, one orange tabby boy, one orange tabby girl with a white bottom, and a white girl.  We will have pictures posted as soon as they are developed.

We bought a new computer.  It's a screamer!  It's a Micron Millennia Max 733.  We also bought a CD-RW and a scanner so that we can make our own digital photo album.  If you are in a market for a new PC, check out MicronPC.com!

12/27/1999

Our fosters have found good homes.  They all have been adopted!  Hurray!  We miss them but are extremely happy that they all left our home healthy.  Best wishes to all four!  We have updated the Photo section. 

Our home is back to normal now.
