Another Reaper model.
High Elf Swordmasters from the lands of Alverest. Each warrior is the culmulation of years of training and personal meditation. The "Katan" blade is the symbol of the Order of Alverest. Each blade is forged by the swordmaster himself and to the untrained is a heavy and unwieldly weapon. It is said that each blade is the bound spirit of the warrior and it will not break unless its owner is broken.
I was unsatisfied with the clean look given to the actual Swordmaster models, and wanted to give them a "meaner" edge. The models were made using Dark Eldar bodies and plumes from Warhammer 40K. The arms were standard spearmen arms positioned to the poses seen here. Gaps were filled with Milliput.The "Katan" swords were an inspiration from Final Fantasy 7, and added to the meaner look. This was made from plasticard shaved on the edges.
