Plastic Marauder Horsemen
The versatility of the Chaos Marauder Horsemen makes it one of the best fast cavlary options and an indespensible tool in the Chaos general's arsernal. However, there are 2 problem with the exsisting models. 1st being the cost of the lead models, which really puts a spanner in the works for that 20 horsemen army; Secondly, the lack of flail armed models.

Here is an easy, quick way of converting plastic marauder horsemen to solve both problems.
What you need
1. Plastic unbarded warhorse
2. Plastic marauder from the regiment box set
3. Cutter
4. Sculpting tool (mine is a piece of plastic that has been shaved to resemble a "knife")
5. Milliput or greenstuff (personal preference)
STEP 1
Assemble up the plastic horse, and cut the legs as shown from the marauder box set. Simply cut the leg above the knee using a pair of cutters.
STEP 2
Mix up the Milliput/Greenstuff, andwhen done, take some and roll in into a "sausage" as shown. This will be the thighs of the horseman, so roll to a thickness that is representative of the thighs of the mounted warrior. The length of this "sausage" should be enough to span over the back of the horse and touch both ends of the saddle (see next pict.)
STEP 3
Bend the "sausage" over the horse. The correct length is somewhere as shown in the picture. As a guide, the ends of the milliput should touch the ends of the saddle.
