Brandon Jenkins didnt become one of Oklahomas best singer/songwriters overnight.
For more than a decade Brandon has been making a name for himself touring throughout
the United States and Europe and recording 5 CDs in the process. Most recently, Jenkins has been working with Grammy award winning producer Pete Anderson (best known for his work with Dwight Yoakam) on a project due out in 2002.  Jenkins has also received several acknowledgements for his musical talent and ability including three nominations for The Spot Music Awards, and most recently winning the national Jim Beam B.E.A.M. grant.

Jenkins music seems to reach beyond any one type of classification.  Americana, Alternative-Country, Folk, Rock, and Blues are all categories that his diversity allows him to be a part of and yet he continues to stand on his own. Soulful, poetic, rowdy, and fun;  Jenkins explores all these things and more, sometimes simultaneously, and does it without the least bit of pretension.  He writes music the way its supposed to be, real stories about the heart of living framed by an acoustic guitar.

Whether playing with his band to capacity crowds or playing solo in coffee houses, bars or book stores somewhere on the road, Jenkins has built a large and loyal following of fans.  He has opened shows for Willie Nelson, David Allen Coe, Robert Earl Keen, Jerry Jeff Walker, The Mavericks, Hal Ketchum, Steven Stills, BR-549, Jack Ingram, John Anderson, Tracy Byrd, Jimmy LaFave and Kevin Welch.
