July 6-8 Trip to Jacksonville and Gainesville
What a trip!  We girls needed some time to do some female bonding.  On Friday I drove to Jacksonville to visit Bridget, Bruce, and Brice.  We went running for a while.  I got to push Brice in the stroller while Bridget and Bruce did most of the running.  Brice and I got to stop and look at bugs on the sidewalk and the bushes.  Brice was at the edge of the stroller the whole time!  Bruce made my favorite macaroni and cheese for dinner.  I usually don't like anything that isn't Kraft Cheese and Macaroni, but Bruce did a very good job.  I will eat his Mac and Cheese any day!  We then went to this great ice cream shop and walked around in the little town.  It was like a little Park Ave.!  We then spent hours blowing up the air bed.

Saturday, Bridget and I packed up and headed for Gainesville to visit April and Nichole.  Driving there was great.  I think we went through every single po-dunk town in Florida.  We even saw a guy waiting for a bus with his cow.  Don't ask.  When we got to Gainesville, we decided to go to Lake Walburg (which Bridget and I kept calling Lake Waldo).  We rented some canoes.  We never did see any gators, but April and Nichole had many stories about people who had tipped their canoe during mating season.  Oops.
After rowing our arms to death, we went to get food at the oldest Arby's that ever existed.  A police man was there and he wanted to be in some commercial about how he lost weight from eating at Arby's.  He was kinda' weird.  We also saw Shrek at the theater...that was great.
