Heidi
On March 27, 2004, we adopted Heidi from the Seminole County Humane Society.  She was quite a handfull for the first few weeks, but now she is a joy to have around.
When we got her, her name was Shooter, but we decided she needed a more appropriate name.  Our friends suggested Heidi and so it stuck.  She loves people and thinks she is a little lap dog, though she weighs almost 50 lbs.

The Humane Society thinks that she is a mix between a fox hound and a retriever.  Chris and I definitely see mostly American Fox Hound in her.

We aren't sure where her forehead scars came from.  We think she was hurt by another dog when we was a puppy because she was so agressive with other dogs.  In order to fix this problem, we took her to the dog park to help her learn how to socialize with other dogs.  She is now very friendly with other dogs and loves to play with them.
