I'm Over You I'm Over You

January 18, 1999

I'm over you,

I don't need you.

I'm over you,

Are you over me, too?

Why did I waste my time

With the likes of you?

Now you ain't worth a dime.

Now I need someone new.

Someone who deserves me,

Just the way I am.

Oh, why can't you see,

You're not my type of man!

But on the other hand,

Maybe I still need your arms.

Then I know I'm safe and

I'll never meet any harm.

But then I think back over it,

And I realize the obvious...

That...

I'm over you,

I don't need you.

I'm over you,

Are you over me, too?

I don't need you holding me on cold nights,

That's what I have a coat for.

I don't need you telling me it's alright,

That's what my friends are there for.

I don't need you comforting me,

That's what my music's there for.

I don't need you laughing with me,

That's what my family's there for.

But who am I kidding?

Who believe's what I say?

I think aobut it, and *bing*

I need you like I need the day!

I'm not over you,

Why can't you see,

I'm not over you,

But are you over me?
