Ball and Chain

90 miles and I'm back again, It's like a never ending maze.
All the time I've lost and all the pain I've caused, Still the solution stays the same.
Back and forth feels like I'm lost again, I same the same old winding road
I face it head on first then take another look, But find it comes out just the same.
Yet I will survive.

When I fall asleep I'll be fine,   I'll cry all my tears in the rain
I'll walk like my head's in the clouds,  But I'm caught in a ball and chain

I  try to run away but I'm stuck inside, Half the diameter's two feet long
I try to pick it up, I try to drag it along, But the weight just won't subside
Back and forth feels like I'm lost again,  I same the same old winding road
I face it head on first then take another look, But find it comes out just the same.
Somehow I'll get by.

When I fall asleep I'll be fine,  I'll cry all my tears in the rain
I'll walk like my head's in the clouds,  But I'm caught in a ball and chain
When I find the time to unwind,  I'll hang all my cares out to dry
I'll keep talking like my head's in the clouds,  But I'm caught in a ball and chain.

When I find the time to unwind,  I'll hang all my cares out to dry
I'll keep talking like my head's in the clouds,  But I'm caught in a ball and chain.
Oh I'm caught in a ball and chain, Oh I'm caught in a ball and chain
