I also heard back in highschool that kids were using kittens as a baseball. They would toss the kitten up in the air and hit it with a baseball bat. This kind of torture is horrible.
I've received plenty of letters in the mail from different organizations about cats being tortured and burned with acids or toxics. I heard about one kitten getting burned on the barbeque grill.
In China, cats are considered food. The way they kill the cats though is so inhumane and disgusting. In order to keep them fresh for a longer time, they skin the cat alive. No, they aren't just shaving off the fur, that's what I thought when I first heard about this. They actually take the skin off the cat while the cat is still alive so that there is nothing left but tissue, bones, veins, etc. This is horrible. All of that torture to the poor cat just so it stays fresher. It's sickening.
