| I do have some furry little beings in my family, and here they are: |
| I am putting Sammy the Wonder Cat first because she is the oldest. She was MY first pet, I got her when I first was out on my own. My mom was always allergic to cats when I was growing up, so I didn't have any. As soon as I could, I went to the SPCA and got myself a kitty. I adopted Sammy in September of 1993, and she has been my kitty ever since. She is beautiful and playful... aren't most cats though? Mike isn't a "cat person", so he and Sammy have quite a history. She loved to torment him when she was a kitten, I think that she scarred him for life! But, they have managed to peacefully co-exist. |
| Livi the Wonder Pooch is our newest family memeber. Her name is actually Olivia, which Josh picked out. We adopted her from the SPCA in June of this year, and she is definately part of our clan now. Mike never owned a dog growing up, so he really enjoys having her around, and the kids adore her. I love her to death, the only one NOT loving her is Sammy. Livi looks at Sammy like she wants to play and Sammy looks back with the look of death. They are peacefully co-existing now, and Mike is revelling in the glory of knowing that Livi is just as much of a pain to Sammy as Sammy is to him! Livi is classified as a "Lab-mix", but we have no idea what she is "mixed" with. She is adorable and sweet as can be, we do know that much! |
