| "I Just Wanna Take Care of You" This poem has come from time here at the Governor's School. I call it my parent/child poem because it is about how I feel in regards to some of the students here (and one in particular as he was dealing with some potentially serious problems). |
| Your face looks like the world punched it, but your eyes seem like they've never been touched I want them to stay that way as long as possible I just wanna take care of you Your body's never at ease, as something is always being held in I want to help you let it all go I just wanna take care of you I don't know if you need medicine from a doctor, or love from a friend I want to help you feel Ok I just wanna take care of you I don't know how much you want to talk and how much you just want to be I want to make it better for you I just wanna take care of you |
