| "Wack Jack" This poem was written for my friend Pricilla. She taught me the phrase "wack jack," and it can be used in a positive or negative light. It is similar to "crazy." |
| She wack jack and she's all that She's the kind of woman who at 20-plus still sees the joy in a coloring book and who likes to throw foods together and just cook The girl is care free enough to jump off bridges and discover the depths of lakes and the depth of her commitment to God is something you can't shake She likes Brazilian men because they have a gentle spirit and she'll introduce herself to anyone she's never met She's curious like her favorite George and has walked across the bridge over the Royal Gorge Her heart will warm you like hot chocolate after playing in the snow (which she still loves to do by the way) and she thinks free coffee at Barnes & Noble is the way to go The gal is soothed by bathing to Kenny G even if she knows it's corny and she can do some mad swing dancing all night long and into the morning She's addicted to Cocoa Puffs mixed with soft serve ice cream and hanging from mountains is one of her dreams She's economical enough to shop at the Salvation Army and thrift stores but classy enough to help build Habitat houses for the poor She's all about poetry and shirts with alligators and when it comes to procrastination there's no one better Like I said - she's wack jack and she's all that |
