Biology

The California State standards in Biology focus on 5 major areas; Ecology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Evolution, and Physiology.  We will cover the topics in the order listed, but students will quickly realize that each area is connected to all of the others.  Most information will come from the text, but students will be given supplementary information, generally in the form of articles.  Also, students should realize that there is information in the text that will not be covered, or tested on, in class.
