My U.S. Air Force Career

I joined the U.S. Air Force in February 1995, and have served 8 years as an enlisted communication/computer systems operator . bullet1995, Lackland AFB, TX (San Antonio): Basic Military Training.
bullet1995, Keesler AFB, MS (Biloxi): Tech School for communications computer systems operator.
bullet1995-98, Kirtland AFB Air Force Research Laboratory, NM (Albuquerque): First assignment. Philips Research Laboratory (AFMC). Was assigned to the SCS shop. Met: Christopher Wagers, Cyndie Foreman.
bullet1998-2001, Cheyenne Mountain AFS, CO (SpaceCom) Second assignment. Was assigned to IDHS Help Desk for 2 years then moved to System Administration for message handling systems. Met: Autumn Chavez, Chad Hanneman. Chad's now my brother in-law.
bullet2001-02, Osan AB, Republic of Korea: Assigned to 51CS. Started out at System Administration, but later moved to Postal. Met: Grace Cirillo, Jarmaine Davis.
bullet2002-05, RAF Molesworth, UK: Assigned to 423ABS where we support the JAC. Finished my bachelor's degree, will apply for a commission. Met: Richard Peck, Lafe Hernandez, Maxy Colon.

The Air Force was a great career! I have many "Air Force" friends, both active and retired, and email helps us stay in touch.
