This beautiful old guy is a wooden statue outside Todaji. You were supposed to rub whatever ails you and then the same place on him and he would cure you. I rubbed my wallet. |

Kasuga grand shrine. This shrine has something like 3000 lanterns on the grounds. The outdoor lanterns were stone and as tall as a person. Sadly it was pouring, so no pictures. |
