Here
are a few pictures of what we started with. There were peach colored tiles
on the walls and in the shower, brown cabinets, peach tiles on the countertop,
and a vinyl, brownish floor.
The
shower is leaking into the basement, the bathroom is crowded and dirty,
and many tiles are cracked or missing.
We
pulled the tiles off the walls ourselves, incurring much damage to the
walls themselves.
Not
real smart, I guess, but what can you do?
Today
the contractor started pulling off the damaged sheetrock. We haven't decided
whether to keep the cabinets or toss them. Eventually we will have repaired
walls, a new floor, new countertop, sinks, fan, windows, and lights.
