A Brief Political Thought...
Al Quida was and still is more powerful than us.  That's right, something or someone is more powerful than the United States of America.  WOW.  This is where many American's are ignorant.  Many would like to believe we are an untouchable nation; nothing can hurt us because we are the richest and we live on free land.  Yet we have always been extremely vulnerable.  Instead of accepting how vulnerable the U.S. really is, some would rather blame the Bush Administration and not believe we were actually tricked by a group of powerful people.

There is no reason to be blaming President Bush for the terrorist attacks of 9/11.  A person who works to reach the position of the President of the United States of America is not going to say "I don't care, I'll let the Iraqi's kill thousands of my people."  President Bush cared and still does.  Doubting this is doubting the system. Democrat, Republica, Independent, whatever you may be, all of us should always believe our President is there to protect and serve his people.

September 11 was not a huge failure of the Bush/Cheney administration.  It is completely unfair to say Bush was "ignoring" something that would effect the entire nation, especially people's lives.  Bush, Gore, Clinton, Reagan, whoever the President is, none of them would be heartless enough to ignore anything that would come through warning them of something that could possibly kill thousands of people.  It is hard to believe that some people truly believe Bush was given warnings that told him exactly where they were going to hit us.  A powerful and mean group such as Al Quida is NOT going to tell us where they are going to attack.  They may have warned us that they were going to attack, but unless we know how or where, there is no preventative action besides increased security, which was probably done secretly so the American people didn't freak out.  No one could have prevented such a malicious act. If Bush could have prevented it, he would have.  Any other person in office would have too.
