The only thing about the area it is in that is hard to get used to is the fact that we will have to move out of our ward...
That means no more Young Women for me...and no more Scouts for Patrick...
Taking some getting used to...
We'll be moving on the first of December.
10/07/05 - Patrick is home! He made it safely. He got home last Wednesday. It has been great to have him home again. We wanted to make sure to thank everyone for your love and support while Patrick was away.
Patrick and I went and got his class schedule for Devry yesterday. His classes start in just a little over two weeks! He is excited to get started in school again.
We had a doctor appointment yesterday and got to see our little one kicking around. It was good for Patrick to be able to see her since he missed the last appointment.
Patrick and I are planning a day trip to Kirtland, Ohio in a few weeks. It will be nice to learn more about church history. Neither Patrick or I have been there before, so we are excited.
09/23/05 - First of all, sorry I haven't been more frequent with my updates, for those of you who check this regularly.
We received some great news last night. Patrick will be home sometime next week! That is all I can say on here, but just know that he will be coming home safely. We will post an update once he's been home for a bit to let you know how the adjustment is going for both of us.
I have added a page for pictures of Patrick while he was over there. Right now there is only one on the page, but I will add more when he brings them home.
09/12/05 - We're on the downslope now! Patrick has passed his middle point of being gone. It's kind of exciting!
Our baby has started moving around quite a bit now. We are slowly getting used to the idea of calling her "she" instead of "it."
With Patrick gone, it's been very boring here. He's doing very well where he is, though. If you would like to send him an email while he's away, just email me, and I will be glad to send you his email address.
Patrick will be starting school again at the end of October. He is very anxious to get started.
Not much else has been going on here. I will keep you posted on what's going on.
