Maverick began flyballing at the age of 2 in the year 2000 with another flyball club.
Maverick's first competition was the Sydney Royal Easter
Show where he didn't work at all .
His 2nd attempt in Canberra wasn't that much better either.
But he had fun playing up to the crowds.
However with much retraining and persistence Maverick has turned into a fairly good flyball dog, and is quiet happy to be in any position within the team, just as long as he gets that ball?.
Maverick is a well travelled dog who has attended many flyball competitions in Sydney, Queanbeyan, Canberra with his biggest trip was to the Melbourne Royal in 2003 where he happily staying with his mum and a fellow team mate Molly at a farm stay at Whittlesea.

AFCH Australian Flyball Champion
